Supply, install, finish

Fixtures & Faucets

The part of the plumbing you actually touch every day.

Fixtures & Faucets work completed by Stillwater Plumbing Co.

A fixture is the only part of a plumbing system most people ever see, which is why a sloppy install is so obvious: the silicone bead that wanders, the handle that sits a few degrees off level, the escutcheon that never quite meets the tile.

We install what you bought, or we source it for you at trade pricing. Either way the finish work is held to the same standard as the pipework behind it.

What we install

  • Kitchen and bar faucets, including filtered and instant-hot taps
  • Bathroom faucets, vanities and vessel sinks
  • Toilets, including comfort-height and wall-hung carriers
  • Shower valves, thermostatic mixers and body sprays
  • Freestanding and drop-in tubs
  • Garbage disposals and dishwasher connections
  • Outdoor hose bibs and frost-free sillcocks

Worth knowing

What separates a good install

These are the details that decide whether a fixture still looks right in five years.

  • 01

    Valves replaced, not reused

The angle stop under your sink is a five dollar part. Reusing a twenty year old one to save five dollars is how the next flood starts.

  • 02

    Level, square and plumb

Checked against the counter and the tile line, not eyeballed against a wall that is not straight to begin with.

  • 03

A sealed joint that stays sealed

Correct sealant for the material, tooled properly, and cured before the water goes on.

  • 04

    The old one taken away

Removed, boxed and gone. The packaging too.

How this is priced

Flat rate per fixture, quoted before we start. If you supply the fixture we will check it is complete and undamaged before we take the old one out — a surprisingly useful ten minutes.

  • Flat rate, not hourly
  • Quoted before we start
  • No change without your say-so

Questions about this job

What people ask,
before they book this one.

Absolutely, and plenty of people do. We will check the box is complete before removal so you are not left without a sink because a part is missing.

We warranty our installation either way. The fixture itself carries whatever the manufacturer offers, which is why we will gently steer you away from the cheapest options for anything with a cartridge in it.

Usually under an hour if the shut-offs behave. Old angle stops that will not close are the single most common reason it takes two.

After-hours emergency line

Water does not wait
for business hours.

Answered by a plumber, not a call center, seven days a week. We will tell you how to shut it off before we even get in the van — and if we cannot reach you tonight, we will say so on the call rather than leave you waiting.
